Autograph Success In Person(MLB)

Last Tuesday and Wednesday night on July 6th & 7th, I went down to Digital Domain Sports Complex in Port St. Lucie, Florida where the St. Lucie Mets, the Single A Minor League Farm Club of the New York Mets plays during the regular season. It just so happens that Carlos Beltran was down there rehabing and I had to opportunity to get his autograph twice, once on a baseball and the other time on a New York Mets Full Size Batting Helmet. I also had to opportunity to get Wilmer Flores who is a top roookie prospect for the New York Mets. I got him to sign a baseball along with the batting helmet and two baseball bats. Also, I had the opportnuity get baseballs signed by former MLB players such as Mookie Wilson, Al Jackson, Phil Regan, and Michael Barrett. Michael Barrett who use to be a cathcer with the Montreal Expos and Chicago Cubs just recently signed a minor league contract with the New York Mets. Great Success!!! I was glad that I had the opportunity to get their signatures.

Cool successes. Was Barrett playing for the single-A team? Seems like a really low level for him to play at.

Great success! Is Mookie coaching there now?

Michael Barrett signed a contract with the New York Mets earlier this year, however they have him playing for the Mets Single A farm club in Port St. Lucie. I'm not sure why they have him playing there considering that he has played at the major league level for a number of years now? As for Mookie Wilson, I believe he works now as an assistant coaching advisor of some type with the St. Lucie Mets. Awhile back, he was the manager of the Brooklyn Cyclones.
