Via ebay, got a couple of postcards signed by different Marvel folks. I'm pretty sure these are from the set of 100 cover postcards that came out a while ago.

Got my stuff back from Dan Jurgens! He signed to Superman issues, from Reign of the Supermen and 2 recent issues of Booster Gold .... and ... gave me a personalized Cyborg Superman sketch on one of the backboards. SCORE!
By the way, I sent directly to DC Comics. It was around 5 months turn around.

THANK YOU!
I've been waiting for someone to report a success from Jurgens for a while before sending out myself after SDCC. I'll be sending out Boo$ter Gold #1 & #1,000,000 to be signed this week.
On another note, I'm thinking of trying Geoff Jones at DC too. I know with all he's got on his plate right now it's a longshot, but I'd love to have issues #0 & #1 of Blackest Night and Brightest day signed

I would be worth a shot. I know people in his position have to stop at the office every now and then, right? It might take just as long as the 5 months I waited, but it will be worth it.

i got a few request out right now: a few to Pixar artist, Bart Sear, Jacob Chabot, Carmine I. and a few others. No luck so far this week but I am sure I will hear something soon.
I will NOT PM you an address. I will assist you in getting said address. IE: give you pointers on where to get it.
Linda Carter signed a DC trading card with a classic image of Wonder Woman on it. Took about 2 months time. Interesting thing about the note they sent was that I did not request a signed photo, just asked if she would please sign my card. Good to know that she will provide one for you if send a large enough envelope
Michael Zeck signed the cover of my Defenders comic that he did the pencils on. I sent it out so long ago that I had wrote it off as a loss.
Let me elaborate on my previous post; I think it's a good idea to send directly to the offices of the comic companies. It took less than 2 weeks for me to get my stuff back from Erik Larsen and I hear that Joe Quesada is great about ttm and a return time.
What we have to remember is that not everyone visits the office every day, or even every week or month. We can send stuff to DC for Geoff Johns and Jim Lee, but they might only visit the DC NYC office once every few months and I doubt they forward the mail off to them in Cali.
Sending ttm to people we know are at the office on a regular basis, like Quesada, will result in getting stuff back faster, but for the ppl who aren't there that often it might take much longer, like 4 months for my Dan Jurgens reply or 6 months for my Todd McFarlane reply. It might take 6-8 months to get stuff back from Geoff Johns, since he's got so much fan mail to sort through. We should also keep in mind that they get a lot of fan mail at the offices and there's a better chance of something getting lost because of the sheer volume of mail they get each day.
That being said, with SDCC coming up, I would suggest sending stuff to Image as soon as possible, since their artists/writers attending SDCC will more likely then not stop at the Image office sometime during the week of SDCC.
I'm bored at work, and I tend to ramble when I'm bored. Sorry if most of you already know this stuff, which I'm sure you all do
Who else has gotten back sketches through the mail? The free ones? I got Chris Bachalo, Erik Larsen and Dan Jurgens. I guess it never hurts to ask for a quick sketch. The worst they can do is tell you no, right? I hear Norm Breyfogle does free sketches ttm also, if you include a sase. I have some Batman books to send him.
That also reminds me that I need to send some stuff to Lynda Carter. Maybe an issue of Wonder Woman and some of the DC cards from 1992/1993.
