These Star Trek autos from Ebay

Unread post by dogthemindfreak »

Ok, my guess is too good to be true, but would anyone mind taking a look at these and letting me know? They all match pretty close! Thanks!

Gates McFadden appears either to have been faked by somebody or written really really really sloppily by Gates. Michael Dorn matches my IP. I question the authenticity of the Marina Sirtis..her first name looks believable, the last not as much.,,I also have an IP from her. I suppose the Kate Mulgrew could be authentic, just quickly written. The others I'm not sure about.
Favorite Successes:Kate Mulgrew, Clint Eastwood, Patrick Stewart, Brent Spiner(IP), Marina Sirtis(IP), Jonathan Frakes, Michael Dorn(IP), Denise Crosby(IP), Gates McFadden(IP), Levar Burton, Cheap Trick (IP), James Doohan, George Takei(IP), Walter Koenig(IP), Charlie Daniels, Gretchen Wilson, Lauren Bacall, Patrick Wayne, Larry Manetti, Michael Berryman, Hank Williams Jr, John Landis, John Carpenter, Robert Englund, Roger Mosley, Eli Wallach
Anxiously Awaiting Return: Brooks and Dunn (VV), Wes Craven, Sam Elliott, Gene Wilder, George Lazenby, Lance Henriksen, Andrew Robinson, Robert Picardo, Clint Howard, Kate Mulgrew (#2)...and too many more to name.

At second glance, most look pretty good (I didn't realize I could enlarge them)..... I'd say in about 90% confidence all or most are authentic. I post pics of mine for you to compare, but this board will not let me post my pics (I tried) The Michael Dorn absolutely matches my IP, the Sirtis is close enough to be believable, some of the Gates McFadden ones match my IP.

If you're in this hobby for the $$$, I'm not absolutely certain. The seller is selling very cheaply. On the other hand, if you;re in it for the plaesure of having very probably authentic autos, bid away. I'd bid on these myself, if my wife would let me :) .

My first thought on the Gates McFadden was that it was not real because I have Gates' autograph and it doesn't look much like that. I have Marina's, Michael's, and Kate's and those all look pretty good. I figure I'll probably bid, $8 is not bad and with the thought that most of them look pretty good and even if they aren't, I'll still get some cool pictures. My main reason for wanting is the Majel Barrett and Terry Farrell. Thanks for the input!

I agree with what people say about the Gates McFadden. Otherwise all look good and match up with in persons that I've gotten. HOWEVER the low price does concern me.

The low price was a concern for me as well, so I suppose it may be a risk bidding. $8 total isn't bad though and if they all turn out to be frauds I wouldn't be out that much.
