Do you think there is any hope of getting this one back?

Unread post by starreyes »

I sent a VV request to Jason Mraz on the 5th of January, and the concert was on the 14th. I'm pretty sure it would have gotten there in time, if not early, so I don't see any way that it could have not gotten there on time. I didn't check to see if they would give him his fanmail, so he might not have gotten it, but if he did, does anyone see any reason why he wouldn't have read it at least. It says on his website that he gets all his mail eventualy, so at least he will get to read my letter, even if I do just get another pre-printed postcard and a badly copied letter. I'm going to be kind of disapointed if I never hear back though, because I put over $4.00 in postage on both envelopes put together. Yeah, I know it's a little much, but there was a little risk of it being to heavy, so my dad thought it would be a good idea to put some extra.

Also, is there any chance, do you think, that it's just taking it a long time to get back through the mail?

Hey starreyes,

It's only been 15 days since the concert  I'd give it some time. I think there is still hope.

Good luck!

Hi starreyes

Give it a bit of time. Hopefully you'll get your success soon.

I think you should e-mail the venue and ask if they got your letter and if they gave it to Jason.

I will if I can find their email address. I would have emailed them before, but I couldn't find it then, then again, I was in a bit of a rush to get it sent out.

If you know of their email address could you let me know? Thanks. I'll keep an eye out for one too.

How much longer should I wait, like how long is the average VV request out there? I know I'm impatient, which may have something to do with it, and my post office can be pretty slow sometimes, but I'd like to know how much longer I should wait before I completely give up.
