Well, I collected IP's of local news personalities and local football, baseball, and hockey players with my dad when I was about 13, and still do. I started TTM a few weeks after my 14th birthday.

i started IP collecting from a very young age- I would say it was really my mother using me to meet the starts haha, maybe 4 or 5? but i started actual TTM at 13 going on 14 (i'm turning 16 in two months!) .

In Person- never met anyone in person. So hope that changes.
TTM-since I was 16. I started as part of a reading assignment freshman year in high school and got into collecting on and off since.
First one was Gillian Anderson then saw a classmate write to a few of the former Uconn Women's basketball team like Rita Williams, Svetlana Abrosivmova, Diana Taurasi, Geno Auriemma(got a personal typed letter from him which was cool I still have it!) and Current Player Maya Moore and others, and thought it was cool and fun to do, l so Ive tried writing to other people I admire and been on and off collecting since.

I started collecting in 1967 when my dad gave me a Mickey Mantle autograph.I have several sports and art related autographs.I only buy deceased autographs now.
