Re: Celebrity Home Address
Athletes usually do...otherwise they wouldn't have books that have hundreds of their addresses in them.
It's usually no big deal.

Re: Celebrity Home Address
I only seek autographs from musicians.
I only send to home addresses of the ones I actually know
since I know they would be ok with it

Re: Celebrity Home Address
The higher profile athletes/celebrities protect their privacy and therefore rarely reply to requests at their home because they do not want to verify a working address. It all depends on who you send to. I would not send to someone's home unless I knew that they were okay with that.

Re: Celebrity Home Address
A lot of the older folks don't seem to mind getting mail at their homes from fans. I've had a lot of great successes by using home addresses of figures from all categories.

Re: Celebrity Home Address
If I ever write to a home address, I always say to the celebrity that I hope they don't mind me writing to said address and that I will in no way pass it (the address) on to anybody (and I do always keep that promise).
I think at the end of the day if you seem sincere then there's no problem in writing to home addresses.

Re: Celebrity Home Address
Hi,
For over 25 years I have been writing to celebrities, films, television , music and sport. The best way to receive a success is to write to their home.
Especially with older celebrities, no home address is secret and is easily found on the internet, including close up picture views of their homes(google map etc) As long as you don't go knocking on their door, most are fine.
If another address is provided ( a PO Box, agent, manager, PA) then I will send to that address, but is has never caused me a problem.
regards
Sean
