I sent an e-mail to the Doris Day Animal Foundation questioning if Doris did actually sign TTM and if they are authentic. Shortly thereafter, I received a response but it seems to hint they are authentic then they are not. Here it is:
Dear Jonathan,
Thank you for writing. Miss Day gets a tremendous volume of requests to autograph photos, and she signs as many as she can. Someone else does physically mail them for her because it is an overwhelming task for her, and she does not have a staff to handle her correspondence and requests.
She is aware that many of the requests she receives turn out to be photos people plan to sell, but she keeps fulfilling the fans' requests nevertheless. There's nothing that can be done about Internet rumors about authenticity, so that's nothing we can address. Miss Day is in her 80s and works very hard to take care of all requests.
We hope this helps.

Interestingly, the return is from doris@****.org.
Why don't they just say Doris does NOT sign any of the photos?

I don't think they would say that.

Neither do I, but it's well-known she doesn't. Just doesn't make sense to me. :neutral:WildChild96 wrote:I don't think they would say that.
