These Diaz/Cruise photos are not even close to being authentic.

People can believe what they want. After-all, suckers are suckers for a reason. You've gotta ask some common sense questions here. This person is out in CO. Where are they seeing these stars? If its LA, that's a 13 hour one way trip. If its LV, thats an 8 hour one way trip. So, they are not getting them themselves.
They quote in their auctions:
"All items we offer are from agents who have obtained the signature of the celebrity or celebrities indicated in person. Signatures are obtained through public signing events, celebrity events and personal signings."
So therefore, they are either buying the autographs or forging them. How do you trust someone when all they are doing is buying secondhand autographs? It's kind of common sense here, if a photo costs $1.50-2 to print, and many of their auctions are starting at $12, then they will have to be purchasing for $10 or under. I know there are some people who will work for $5 a graph, but they are offering some of the toughest autographs in current Hollywood to obtain for that $12. Common sense get's you pretty far.

I have only ever got her (Diaz) to sign once in 10 years yet they have an endless supply of them and they are dual signed by Cruise as well plus all shots from the latest movie.Nicksportsautographs wrote:These Diaz/Cruise photos are not even close to being authentic.

And yes, I agree that it is very obvious that those are not authentic.
If that dealer was listing authentic autographs I can assure you the collectors of the world would have figured it out and everyone would know about it and their prices would get bid up like crazy. Heck, I might even buy from them. But there is no way I would buy what they are listing now.
I have said this hundreds of times:
When it comes to any dealer/seller, all that matters are the autographs. They are simply authentic or not. No story, blog posting, fake recommendation, COA or sticker can magically change a bad graph into a good one.
As the previous poster stated a little 'common sense' can go a long way and I agree.

Re: sasha and sadies celebrity autographs
I have always thought it a shame that when a great company who provides authentic items gets very successful they become the target for those that want the business they have. I have collected for many years and I have seen these attacks take place on other autograph sellers. I have never understood why companies and collectors do not focus their energy on growing their own business and collections instead of spending their time trying to scare the public away from successful companies. I have spoken to Sasha's and what sets them apart is their large staff of collectors built up over the years that are stationed in many parts of the country collecting autographs. The owners also travel most of the year collecting themselves. The home base of the company is irrelevant as to their legitimacy. I see this as another useless scare tactic. I have inquired about some of the items they sell at $12.00 and they are from autographworldllc which even include autographworldllc's stickers on the back. So I guess autographworldllc sells fakes too huh? Now lets all start attacking autographworldllc. I'm sure they will be next. Once your as big as Sasha's, with a large staff and contacts it is easy to get the autographs that they do. Why is no one asking autographworldllc why the have an endless supply at .99 cents from hard to get celebrities? I guess they are not big enough yet for people to feel they deserve to be attacked. These comments show me no one knows Sasha'a business and how it successfully got that way in over 30 years of hard work. All I can say is yes, as a buyer do your homework. I have. I am very happy with their items. Sasha's has always stood the test of time through many many years of hard work and dedication. Their reputation has always withstood personal attacks and that is testimony in itself. They have always been great in my book. I can't wait to see who's company is the targeted flavor of the month next month as I have seen this happen over and over to good companies. What a shame.

I am not sure what you mean by sashasadiepup (SSP) becoming a "target". NO PERSON is attacking them here (in this posting anyway). Why are you so defensive? Are you their friend of maybe even them?
There is PLENTY of room for sellers of authentic autographs in the world market. No dealer of authentic autographs needs to attack anyone get more business.
A question was simply posted to ask if they can be trusted. Several of us then looked at their offerings and found a bunch of OBVIOUSLY NOT AUTHENTIC material for sale. Once we found autographs that were not authentic why would we care to search further to try and find some real autographs when the original request was for us to determine if they could be trusted? It is just that simple.
Based on that discovery, several of us gave our opinion that they cannot be trusted. I don't think anyone will trust a seller that mixes the good with the bad and I can assure you those Diaz & Cruise photos from the earler posting did not come from autographworld.
Also, please stop comparing SSP to Autograph World. I stated before that everybody knows about JD & Bob (I happen to know them personally). Their business model is very obvious- sell "c" & "d" list stars autographs at a loss/very low profit on ebay to get new customers to their website where the good stuff is at higher pricing.
SSP is selling their autographs at unbelievable/impossible prices/quantities at their website already, so how is that a model to make profit? It is only a model for profit if the majority of the graphs are not real.
Remember, if SSP was selling autographs AND they were all authentic, the collecting world would have figured it out long ago (30 years ago according to your post) and everybody would know about them just as everyone knows of autographworld.
I do, however, find it amusing that you called them and asked if their autographs were real. What seller of fake autographs would say anything to the contrary?
And I will state the obvious again:
When it comes to any dealer/seller, all that matters are the autographs. They are simply authentic or not. No story, blog posting, fake recommendation, COA or sticker can magically change a bad graph into a good one.
Maybe the admins should close this topic.

The problem is people like you who know nothing about autographs or how this actually works in the real world. You cannot get these types of autographs for $5 (Which I determined had to be their cost of acquiring). I don't need to bash anyone, I'm already highly successful, and I don't need to forge autographs to do it.
The problem is when people like you continue to buy from these websites that clearly sell fake autographs. You have not even addressed the autographs that we continue to pick out of their sales that are clear fakes.
Trust me on this, the only way you can consistently sell $12 dual "autographed" photos of Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz is if they are fake. Plain and simple, do the math. Those are not even close to being authentic, and you will never get Diaz in quantity, I don't care how many people you have working for you around the country. And the only reason why this bogus company is still going, is because people like you are still paying them for fake autographs. I mean seriously, this is a joke now.
Common sense must not exist for WestCoastGifts. BTW, John Travolta, Robert Deniro, and Al Pacino all sign TTM. You should try and get some more "real" autographs for your collection.
