Autograph Conventions?

Sorry if there is already a thread about this.

I understand that when you go to an autograph convention celebrities charge you for their autograph, how much do they generally charge?

There's one in September I want to go to but I don't wanna show up with less money than I need.

It depends. Check the web site for the convention you are going to. The cost of admission to the event and the signing fees should be listed there. There is no "average" fee, it all depends on what the agreement is between the convention organizor and the celebrity; and often depends on the location of the convention. Also keep in mind that sometimes they will allow you to mail in your item for an additional fee (and sometimes will include the return postage). With the cost of gas these days, that might be a better choice.
