Baseball Signing Help!

Hi, i have a 3 questions about baseball signings for current players as well as former players. i'm new to this, and i would appreciate any help!

1.) for current players, do you find it easier to send it to their stadiums address during the regular season, or to wait till spring training with that address?

2.) when sending baseball cards to them, i send them in regular size envelopes, not large size unless i'm sending a picture. Is that ok?

3.) for former baseball players; lets say their address is not on this database. if i send it to the former team stadium that they played on, do they have access to them? to give it to them?

1) It depends on the player. Some sign all throughout the season and some only sign during spring training. Some don't sign at all. It boils down to research.

2) That is fine. Most of us use #10 envelopes to send out and the smaller 3-5/8 x 6-1/2 envelopes for the SASE.

3a) No, with one or two possible exceptions. Most of the time you'll have to find the former player's current address. The only execeptions I can think of is if a player is currently a broadcaster, scout, or coach for this particular team; or if the team has an alumni association and the player participates and shows up to that particular team's ballpark on a regular basis.

3b) If you can't find an address for a particular player, you can do one of two things:
-- Ask for a player's current address in the Request a Celebrity Address forum.

--Or check other sites that lists addresses. The best is SportsCollectors.net, where you can sign up for a free membership and view the last two weeks for free; or you can sign up for the premium information for 15 bucks a year. It is well worth the money, since you can look up a player by name and find out if he signs, his address, and his success rate.
