Thats weird because hes usually a good signer,did you send something for him to sign and a sase? I sent him a cd cover last fall and got it back signed along with 2 stickers all within a month .

I wrote to Cyndi Lauper twice vv ... nothing. Heath Ledger, God bless him, twice vv... nothing. Jake Gyllenhaal twice vv...nothing.

I don't try people more than twice usually, and I think 3 would be my maximum.

Sometimes I wonder though, what REALLY happens when your letter gets sent off.. ESPECIALLY vv, I find it hard to believe that the celebrity wouldn't sign something when everything is provided to make it extra easy for them and they obviously receive less fanmail at venue addresses than at fanmail addresses. I just don't think celebrities would be that mean! I definitely think most of the time it's due to something happening to the letter and never getting to the celeb. So either the venue doesn't forward it for whatever reason, their people open it and never forward it to them, it gets lost on set somewhere, etc. I never like to think the worst of the celebrity!

Ya I agree. Via Venue would be the easiest thing for a celeb to sign that's why it hurts when they don't sign. You wonder did the venue pass it? Did the celeb just throw it out? did the management throw it out?? So many factors. So that is why I don't pass fan mail to many celebs anymore. It's such a risk.....
