Sorry it's fake. I've posted on FanMail many times my feelings about posters that are supposedly completley signed at movie premieres. It is impossible! You ARE going to miss names and you'll never get it completed. I was at the Hollywood premiere of Inception. I didn't see Marion Cottilard or Michael Cain cross the street and sign. Also there was so much pushing and shoving that it's so coincidental that the person's poster managed to stay in such good shape and the signatures were in good spots. What I think this person did was to make it a "complete" Inception piece that they faked the missing names. Also I've seen other such complete signed posters from this husband and wife team and they have always looked faked.
Lastly, the so called certificate of authenticity is just some home made job that the seller made up themselves. EVERYTHING doesn't feel right.

You may be right about that. I was out collecting at Comic-Con this weekend and I saw two in-person collectors well known for finishing incomplete items with their own handy work. Sad.

That said I will also say I know several great IP collectors who basically don't care how long it takes to finish a multi-signed item. For them the fun is just working on it whenever possible.

Although what counts are the graphs and they were too tough to see in the pic the seller posted. I would like to think if they really wanted you to see the graphs they would have taken the time to take closeup shots of them all and post them. I will never buy an item if I cant see clear up close shots of the graphs.

We must remember not to make any assumptions about graphs that we cannot actually see clearly.

I'm not assuming anything. I'm going by the facts.
First of all, like I said, I was at the Hollywood premiere of Inception. The seller claims the poster is signed by Michael Cain,
Marion Cottilard and Tom Beringer, among others. Niether Cain, Cottilard or Beringer even came across the street to sign autographs. Therefore the seller couldn't have gotten them on the poster. I was also at the afterparty and they didn't sign there either. Number two, this movie is brand new, so this seller hasn't been working on this poster for a long time. Therefore its safe to say the three names had to be forged in order for a complete Inception poster to get done. By the way anybody notice that you can't find these three signatures on the poster? Perhaps when sold the names will mysteriousley appear when the buyer recieves it? And number three look at the other sellers ebay items. All look fake. So I seriousley doubt the poster is fake too.

I was not actually suggesting you were assuming anything. I realize many people read these and I was just making a generalization for those who might read this (I tend to try and educate when I post here). :D

I just looked at their completed items and luckily most had nice closeup shots of the graphs. The few I looked at were no good. I also noticed all their auctions are set to private. No need for that unless you are trying to hide something. Ebay already makes the buyer information private.

fake all the way. i went to the premiere too and although leo and tom hardy signed quite a few. the others didn't watanabe, ellen page, cillian murphy didn't sign that many. the seller also has 60 some odd bids that he probably had his friend do to make it seem more sought after. he also has the identities private. big flag. this poster is FAKE!
