Mad Men Cast

I've been sick the past couple of weeks so I haven't posted an in person success in a while. I want to share a couple recent ones I've had.
On the 20th of July the cast of Mad Men had ther season 4 premiere over in Hollywood. It was listed on a major website that the premiere was going to be held at a place called the Harmony Gold. I don't particularly like the venue. It's maned with a lot of security and the celebs can pull into a secured/back parking lot. Mad Men is one of my favorite shows, so I had to try. I got to the venue at around 3pm and found no one else waiting. I thought that was starnge because, for the past year, people start to wait for premieres really early. Fortunately someone from the venue came out and asked me what I was waiting for. I told him I was waiting for the Mad Men premiere. The premiere got moved. Luckly I still had time to make it to the new venue. The bad thing is that it was at the Mann's Chinese 6 in the Hollywood and Highlands shopping center. If you're familiar with the mall security then you know they can be mean. If you're getting autographs they will kick you off the property and will continuously ramble on by the book the rules and calling the police. It's a major power trip to them. They had us waiting far from the limo drop off but when we saw a car pull up we would run up ignoring security. Going in I only managed to get Elizabeth Moss and Vincent Kartheiser. Latter security left so we were able to wait closer to the theatre.
Good thing I am familiar with this theatre so I know where they sometimes sneak out the celebrities. Sure enough they did sneak and I was prepared. I got Jon Hamm added to my cast photo. Then Christina Hendricks comes out and the mad rush from the dealers came. Going in she did sign but I was busy getting Moss at the same time. By the time I got to Christina she was done BUT promised she would sign more afterwards. Anyway when she left she wasn't signing because of the crowd of dealers. I reminded Christina of her promise all the way to her limo. Finally she turned around and only signed one for me.
Good? No because she signed right over my January Jones signature that I got at the season 3 wrap party. January was a no show at the season 4 premiere so I couldn't have January re-sign it that night. Also Jon Slattery was a no show.
That was it. Though I did ok getting Hamm, Kartheiser and Moss, now I'm going to have to wipe off the Christina and January and get them all over again.

Not really. That night I had more problems with security than the dealers.

I hate it when security ruins it for people. I have had that numerous times. Once at at a concert venue they " claimed" it was private property and I had no right to be there so they threatened to call the cops but then low and behold I see the cops and I showed them meaning security at the venue. I called the cops over and said they said I cannot be here and then they said nah you are cool so I stayed. It really ticked off security but they got over it but still it's annoying going there because they always give me dirty looks and then there is this comedy club that is in the mall and security hates anyone standing there so they talked with the comedy club and now you cannot stand anywhere near the place apparently or they will have you escorted. Sorry Bud didn't mean to steal your thunder. I was just mentioning how insane security can be. Almost makes you not want to go autographing hunting.

Also another thing with security...They hate it when you get the best of them. I too have had security call the cops but after the cops arrive they tell security that they can't do anything and I have the right to stay. All is fine right? Nope! Then you know what happens? Security will try to mess with you in another way. Since they can't make you leave they will then try to sneak the celebrity out another way so you don't have the chance of getting an autograph.
Bottom line is that security are nothing but big babies that have to get their way.

Another thing to add about the security that really annoys me, is that if they don't get things their own way then they will try different ways to make sure that you don't get an autograph. It is also annoying when security tells a celebrity/ sports star/ etc that they shouldn't sign for whatever reason even when the star themselves most likely wants to sign.

If the star says that they don't want to sign then that is fine because it is their decision but when security says it, it is a different thing all together.
