whoopi is amazing, very nice to her fans, and shes such a big star.
on the other hand ive tried to meet peter davidson who almost always ignors his fans,
im sure hes nice at a convention, but then again when your being paid to sit there i gues you would be nice.

Did you mean Peter DAVISON from All Creatures Great and Small and Doctor Who? If so, I won't wonder anymore that I didn't get back anything from him.

I've written to him twice; first time to his agency in June last year and another time via venue to the Savoy Theatre, London in June this year. I'd never thought he's so bad to his fans

I wouldn't have thought that about Peter Davison; then again, he's one of the few Who actors I didn't hear back from when I was writing in the 90s.

I'm meeting him in Frebruary at the GallifreyOne convention...I'll see how he is then.

i wrote to him via his agent maybe 3 years ago and got a reply. but havnt got anything from him since, via agent, venue or IP.

I agree with you...Jerry Seinfield is not the nicest guy around,

I have gone for Jerry 4 times. I have got him 3 times, for a total of 5-6 autographs over those encounters.
So I personally havent had that bad of a time with him.

Guess I will find out soon if hes as bad as it sounds like hes become soon. He is here next week at a veue I have got him at before.

May I ask how you met him those 3 times? Was it before shows? I'm just puzzled because no artists that perform at that venue use the parking. It actually isn't parking, it's a loading dock. So why he would go through all that trouble to be hidden, I find it just rude!

well, none of the venues I got him at did he do anything out of the ordinary, beside a couple of the times his assistant had everyone line up in a orderly line...but no, no sneaking in other doors anytime I have tried yet.

I have met the members of the bands P.O.D. and Blindside, as well as singer Mike Doughty.

All of them are really nice. Though with Mike, he's bipolar so if you get him on a bad day he'll show it. But otherwise he's great. He meets fans after shows not because he has to, but because he wants to.

This is coming from my friend but he said Bret Michaels refuses to sign anymore at shows unless you pay for a VIP. Which is dissapointing But someone else said it's his management who does that not Bret. Anyways.....

To me it can be pretty much anybody depending on what they're mood is that day.
This post metioned Cameron Diaz and Harrison Ford. You say they are both mean and rude. When I've meet them both have been accomidating to fans. Cameron is more outgoing, Harrison it's all "business". BUT I wouldn't say they are mean/rude.
I 100% agree that Mr. Shatner is #1 on the mean scale. He is so into himself! Honerable metions go to Woody Harrelson, John C Reily, and Prince.

I once met the comedian Jimmy Carr after one of his live shows and he was an extremly nice person. He was answering questions from pretty much everyone as well as signing anything people gave him. I got my ticket signed as well as my own 8x10 I took with me (when he saw that I had brought my own photo he asked me if I was a collector ). He also signed a DVD sleeve and tickket for my brother.

Rude and Mean to me means the same thing but that's just me. As long as the person signs they are cool by me:) but if they are rude/mean then it's not cool.............
