Question about a Three Stooges actor

I was researching to see if there was anybody still alive from the Three Stooges shorts with Curly, and I came upon a man named Martin Sperzel. He is 97, and could very well be the last person alive who appeared with them in a short with Ted Healy. Now, according to this site:

One guy says he didn't have the nicest times in showbiz, and didn't want to share too many recollections. I am not sure whether or not to send my letter to Mr. Sperzel. I don't want to be disappointed, but I really don't want to miss out on this guy. What should I do?

I say give it a try. It mentions that although most of his time in showbiz wasn't very good, he has said that his Three Stooges short was very fun and remembers having a fun time on it.

Ohhh, I see it now. hmmmmm...I'm really not sure. I would say give it a try anyways, you never know what could happen, though, good or bad.

It doesn't hurt to try. If he says no, then you can live with it knowing you tried. If you don't and he dies soon...well, you might regret it.
