Yes - it will legitimately be him. He is writing some new material as well (obviously). Seems to be getting an enthusiatic response, surprisingly (or atleast to me).

I don't remember if it was that the theater didn't pass on fan mail or Pee Wee didn't not sign but I didn't see any successes from the show's run on the West Coast. I sent a letter before I learned this and haven't heard anything back and the show ended a while ago.

But I was so happy when I learned the show was coming to NY I will catch this one. I haven't see a Broadway show in a while, but I have been to a few off broadway productions and really enjoyed them. I am hoping to see Trust before it ends.

As "arrowsup" posted, she is no longer attached, nor is Alan Cumming.

Both have cited "schedule conflicts," but to be honest, most people didn't even think this production was going to happen. It is the most expensive stage musical of all time with over $54 million being spent on it. The average Broadway musical is about $12-$16 million. It's extravagent and is opening 10 months after it announced, not to mention people like the comic book company that owns the rights aren't thrilled it's taken this long.

No one has even heard any music from it, save for one song "The Boy That Fell From the Sky" or somethng that U2 has been performing.
