Today was just amazing. I am interning with Joe Sestak's senate campaign in Pennsylvania, and was notified around 1am this morning that President Clinton would be appearing just a few miles from where I'm at school. I biked over, and was one of the 150 or so people in the room to hear Rep. Sestak and Pres. Clinton speak. After they each spoke (Rep. Sestak for about 10 minutes, Pres. Clinton for about 40) they both stood at the front of the room to talk with people, take pictures, and sign autographs. Both were incredibly gracious; the congressman was a bit more able to have full convos with people since the entire crowd flooded to Pres. Clinton's side of the room first. My camera unfortunately didn't take the picture when I posed with the congressman, but my picture with President Clinton came out beautifully. He also signed a custom index card that I made. Here are my pic and auto, which crosses off my 2nd on my 'most wanted' list in the last 6 months, both in person!
