VV addresses should be shared ONLY by PM. Can anyone edit the first topic and delete the addy please?

Well this area is called "ADD / request a "via venue" address".

There would me more spam-messages if we would share every VV address via PM!

By the way, I don't think they will get now tons of fanmail.

To be honest, the section should just be re-named "Request a VV address", or just be gotten rid of entirely. Unless I am badly mistaken, no where in the rules does it say that addresses cannot be posted.Therefore, no one has the right to remove them. Now ,obviously, it is ideal not to have the address posted openly, but it is NOT against any rules I know of, other then ones the mods have created in their own world. If you do not want addresses posted, then modify the rules. As it is now, there is NOTHING wrong with posting them as far as I can see.

An idea that I have come up with that seems to fall on deaf ears is to restrict this section to certain members, eg 1000 posts, or 500 posts+ 12 months. I don't know what the precise limits would be, but it would surely be a good way to safeguard this section of the forum from dealers/non-members,allow for open and free exchanging of addresses without the constant menace of fear mongering and hatred that plagues this section.

I don't know if this rule exists on this forum, but on other sensible forums with responsible members it exists, and this with good reason.
Once again ... so many sets get closed because of spamming, and this is what nobody wants here, right?
And ... mods on here can edit, and have the right to edit posts and remove which seems inappropiate to them. That's why they are mods!
What is so difficult to understand about this.
If a person wants an addy, he/she just asks and someone helps out via PM. So everyone is happy.

Oh WOW!!!! I thought no one will ask about this one. Well, the address posted a while ago isn't the right one. Sorry to tell you guys. They started last August 26 at different locations in Germany. I think they will be moving now.

Sent out my request on the first day of September. Someone confirmed it and they said that they will pass my letter. Will not give out the address because I'm afraid that it'll just be spammed. If someone found the correct address, don't share. They will tossed each request when it gets spammed.

If you guys found out the correct address, don't bother to share it. I promise, they will toss ALL fanmails if the venue gets spammed. So if you want a bigger chance of getting an autograph, don't share the address! I'm not trying to be selfish here but it's some of the A-List celebrities we're talking about.

I really hope that you don't want to write to the set, because this set will get spammed, many people are interested in those people that are involved. I know about 30 people who have written to the Production Company, to the Hotel the stars are staying and to the Production Office. So this makes already 90 letters and this from people I know and I don't know many people.

Why would you tell people that you hope that they don't want to write to the set?? I understand the whole spamming thing as I am one of many people who have been jipped because of it, but could you seriously be more selfish and ignorant? You and Dani need to get off your damn high horses and relax. Who cares that you know 30 people who have written to the Production Office and the Production Company, and stupidly the hotel. What kind of stalker writes to a hotel??

I am sure most people know that this will be filming at Studio Babelsberg in October and I believe that is a public address. The addresses for this film are easily available on the internet so if many people want to write then that is their right.
It is not yours to tell them you hope they don't write to the set just because you and Dani think you are princesses who deserve it more than everyone else! As I said, I understand they probably shouldn't be posted in here and maybe done via PM, but how dare you tell people not to write to the address! It is selfish people like you who ruin it for others.
