i sent 3 out today, one to detroit which should get there by WED and the other 2 were to playoff teams. do players continue to sign while they are in the playoffs, or do they cut off right after the regular season ends?

Got back from Darren Dalton. He signed a 1993 World Series ticket stub and a card. He's doing radio in Philadelphia and I wrote to him at the station.

I got my Austin Jackson back today with a letter from the Tigers saying they only sign cards. I sent a 8x1 0. What a crock of **** a letter is a letter, and it takes up no more space than a regular envelope. Wasted all my stamps since they used my SASE I wish they would've just did a RTS so I could've gotten half of my stamps back.

I will have to try to send it to spring training

You might want to sign up at SportsCollectors.Net and pay the 15 dollar yearly fee. I looked him up and found out that the Detroit Tigers will not forward anything to the players except cards. Not even index cards or 5x7 photos. There was even one person who sent an 8x10 to Jackson c/o the ST facility and got an RTS with the same letter you got.

Although he is not listed as participating, perhaps if you are willing to send the $20.00 donation maybe Mr. Jackson would be happy to comply. Of course, I would wait until spring training before sending. Who knows, maybe by then his name might be on the list.

As for your misfortune, it is the risk we take. It's happened to me too with another player, but it didn't upset me. I just assumed that in his mind it was better for him to return my item in my SASE then for him to have to make a special trip to the post office and buy stamps to send me a letter to explain why he didn't sign my photo. C'est la vie...

wow that sucks. comerica park has to be one of the least fan friendly places ever. when i was 15 i asked an usher if he could get me the ball that was by his feet. he was like "ok" so he went over and grabbed the ball, looked at me and threw it towards the infield.

i called him 2 names and i was escorted off of the property

we had a 20 game package there in the inagural season at comerica, and we noticed that all the seats infront of us were empty. i made a complaint because our tix were in the 20th row in the upper deck! i went into the "holy of holies" at the stadium infront of the suits and made my complaint that i wanted to upgrade to a lower row. they told me that DAY OF GAME ticket buyers had premium choice of seating over season/package ticket buyers. i thought that was a load of crap and told them i would never purchase tickets again.

another thing the ushers like to do is make you go to your seats VERY early (sometimes 30 minutes to the start of the game) Getting autographs by the dugout there is a pain in the butt too there isn't much room at all. BEST odds of getting good autographs there is after the game by the players parking lot.

i only see the tigers play on the road now.
