Re: Where are my signed letters?
Oh okay, I know many times the celebs like to keep the letters so they can go back and re-read them later on. Maybe that's why your not getting any back? You sent SASE's with everyone right?

Re: Where are my signed letters?
That might not work. If you put a delivery confirmation receipt on there you would have to figure on two things being done. One, you would have to include the cost of the confirmation receipt or you are assuming they will pay for it. Two, you would have to assume that they (or someone) would go stand in line at the post office to pay for the receipt and get it validated. It's not a bad idea, I just don't think it would work.mayhem13 wrote:On the SASE, also toss on a delivery confirmation sticker

i think you can print out your own shipping label and put the DC on it... but im not sure that would work for a return so you are probably right.packrat wrote:That might not work. Re: Where are my signed letters?
Well, the thing is that it has to be entered into the USPS computer system. You can't do that from home, it has to be done at the point of mailing. So someone would have to go to the post office and have the clerk scan it into the system, then pay for the service. I just don't think they would bother.

Re: Where are my signed letters?
2.5 weeks is NOT a dry spell. 2.5 months could be considered a dry spell depending on how many you have out there.
Is there really a need for one of these threads every day or so? This is not a hobby for the impatient. if someone needs the autograph "right now" I suggest going and buying one.
And how would anyone on here know why or where others successes are? I know I'm coming off as really mean, but enough people!!!! It takes time! If it bothers you so much contact the person you wrote to, considering they are the ONLY ones who can answer where your stuff is.

I couldn't agree with you more, chriscollector. Thank you! If you hadn't said anything, I would have.chriscollector wrote:2.5 weeks is NOT a dry spell. 2.5 months could be considered a dry spell depending on how many you have out there.

@chriscollector: They aren't having a dry spell. They've gotten other replies, they're just wondering if maybe the mailman got used to how the SASEs for the signed letters look or something like that.

Re: Where are my signed letters?
He still has a valid point. Members are simply impatient. Their impatience leads to the paranoid belief that there is some kind of mail theft conspiracy. This is undoubtedly not the case. This hobby is not for the impatient.kennedyniles wrote:@chriscollector: They aren't having a dry spell. I agree about patience, but it naiive to think that mail theft does'nt occur. In fact,it happened to chris himself if i'm not wrong.khackdrums wrote:He still has a valid point.
