In my area they do. All the signed books have a sticker on the cover that say's "Signed by author". I couldn't say if this is all Dollar Tree's, or just all the ones in my area.

There are 3 dollar tree's within a 20 minute drive from me and they always have a bunch of signed books. Picked up a few over the years. My best find ever though was in '94, I went to a yard sale with my mom and grandmother and came across the book Orr on Ice, Bobby Orr's hockey training book. It was signed NICELY on the first page and it only cost me 25 cents. I sold it years later for 40 bucks. lol.. Good return! Always keeping an eye out for more.
Dollar Tree has signed books??
thats what I was thinking also. it has to just be in your area cuz I havn't ever seen a sticker like that at anyone of them here but I'll have another look for it next time I'm in there

Must be just your area....which means you're VERY lucky!! :D I've never seen signed books at Dollar Trees in Florida, Georgia or Kansas.

Yep pretty much! :lol: I usually start with books by people I recognize first, if your thrift store has them all catergorized by type, start with the autobiography's as that's where your most likely to find some. {up}

After that just scan down all the rows and any ones that look interesting to you, pull it out, flip through the first few pages and also the back few pages. ;-)

When you do find one, don't freak out & scream as you might worry the employees and surrounding customers. :lol: Just contain your excitement till you get out of the store.
