Re: I'm Just saying...
There might be a couple of things you can nail him on:
1) The COA he is offering, if it is not yours. This might be a weak argument, though. If he was not a witness to the signing and cannot name a few witnesses, then he has no right to issue a COA.
2) The photo. I noticed your web site logo on that picture. If you own the exclusive rights to that photo, it is illegal for him to sell it without your express consent. It has your intellectual property on it -- the web site itself, if nothing else.
In any event, I sure hope it doesn't stop you from signing for your fans.

I have granted many requests that come through this site (as they mention it in their letters) But I have no idea who it could be. From now on, all are being personalized. Thanks for the support everyone.

No offense dude, but you're not very well-known. You should be excited that people would even want to buy your autograph. I'm SERIOUSLY not trying to sound offensive, just trying to be a little realistic here. Isn't it way too early in the game for you to be getting upset about this? Any publicity is good publicity at your stage.

I agree with this. I've never heard of him.velvetgold wrote:No offense dude, but you're not very well-known. You should be excited that people would even want to buy your autograph. I think what he is tring to say is it just the point of the matter. Well known or not people are making a buck off of his generosity. To me that is not publicity. Its just someone who got an auto and is trying to make a buck.

Re: I'm Just saying...
I used to deal books and at boot sales people would tell me that the books they had on offer were "worth xx£ because they were listed for that on Amazon". I would point out that the ones which hadn't been sold were listed for that on Amazon. I see that this seller has no takers so far.
On the other hand, I came to this hobby through firstly collecting IP, then buying some from dealers, then on eBay, then doing a bit of research and ending up here and writing to people myself. For me, the very act of writing to say thank you for increasing the sum of human happiness is more important than the response, although coming home to one of my envelopes is always nicer than arriving to find a load of bills.
Good for you for signing for people - if I were in your position I'd be hacked off too about this, but how many do you sign which DON'T get listed on eBay?

Re: I'm Just saying...
The point of the matter is, it didn't sell. And it won't until this guy becomes successful. I'd be SUPER happy that people even know who I am, that they'd want to sell my autograph!ozzman wrote:I think what he is tring to say is it just the point of the matter.
