After two months my dad finally comes home!!!!

HEY!!!!

Ok,well I figured I would share this all with you!!It all started on December 8th,at 1:00 a.m. in the morning when my mom found my dad on the floor struggling to breath!!My mom woke me up to help and let me tell you all,I really didn't know what to do!!I had never seen my dad in such a horrible situation before!!You see,my dad has been sick for a about over a year and refused any help!!He would always say that nothing was wrong with him and that the doctors didn't know what they were talking about!!That all changed that night.....

Me and my mom were at the hospital from 2 a.m. until 6:30!!My dad has to get transferred to a hospital called St.James where he can be worked on!!My dad's blood pressure was over 300 when he got to St.James and when we got to the hospital,my mom had to tell me,my 2 older sisters,and my younger brother that we might lose our dad!!He was going into brain surgery because we found out that he had a massive brain bleed!!The doctor told my mom that there was a chance that he wouldn't live out the night......but he did!!My dad was in a coma and my mom had to make a decision!!One day,my mom asked my dad if he can hear her to please squeeze her hand and let her know!!He squeezed her hand and opened his eyes for the first time!!!

He has gone through SO much and has proven to my family that he is a strong man who will never give up on anything!!My dad was in a coma for my 17 th birthday and it hurt so much!!Our Christmas was without my dad and that was the hard part!!But now after two months he is home and I could not be even more happier then what I am today!!My dad ghas proven everything!!We didn't give up on him!!I do admit my dad was very stubborn for not listening to us when we told him to go to the doctor,but theres one thing I do know and will never forget,is that my dad is and will always and forever be my hero!!

Firstly, i would like to congradulate your father on a safe and healthy recovery!! I am SO happy to hear he is doing better and is now home safely with the people he loves most in his life!!

I am terribly sorry about what has happened and i wish him and your family so much happiness and joy with him back in your life!! I know in situations like those, it is hard to know what you can do to help someone else!!! He is so strong and courageous for making it his far!!!

You and your family are truly one of a kind to have helped your father SO much!! He is so blessed and i know he knows it too I will pray for you and your family always like i have!!! *HUG*

Great news to hear your dad is home now

What a time you have all been through over the past couple of months, but the fact you have come through it all shows how strong your family is as a single unit

Sometimes I think the stress and worry is worse for the family and friends who have to stand by and watch a loved one suffering Your dad has proved to be one of life's fighters though, so good on him for that, and I hope he will go from strength to strength now he is back home with you all

I suspect though - although your dad was not at home with you for Christmas - that his healthy return will be the best late present you will ever get!

I am SOOOO glad your dad is okay and home now. I know what your going through my dad has being ill ever since i can remember i dotn think i can remember a time when he wasnt and am almost 21 now. And my mum is really ill now 2.
