Well, thats a hard desteny man, but you said that you can't work for your money, because you're 15 years old and don't have time.
So I will tell you something about me, I am also 15 years old (nearly 16), going to school from eight o' clock in the morning till 5 in the evening and than I've got to lean for my exams and do homework. BUT I still got time to work in a little job.

I didn't want to offend you that hard, but it sounded that you wrote multiple times to mr bush, while others haven't recived their auto yet.

Best,

I am also 15 years old and i agree with Politician
If you dont have any money and you have extra bookplates why not sell them?
I know its very hard to find a job let alone living in the situation Politician in. He just said he didnt write more than once. Leave him alone! 8)

It's all right, but I only thought that he wrote more than once.
Sorry, my mistake

Could you please be a bit clearer the next time? So that we can leave out discussions like that ;-)

AND (!) it's not need to call us assholes only because we are criticising you. Please stay polite.

I was called "one of those scum" in another thread, so should I not be defensive? I did try to write to him multiple times, but sadly, it didn't work.

I don't think people should be so hard on you. Some people can handle a job and school and others can't. I'm in college, (19 yrs old) and I currently don't have a job. I tried having one but my boss didn't want my schoolwork to come first. It's tough.
I mainly collect voice actor and Disney related autographs-Any questions with Disney successes/addresses? Feel free to PM me!

i agree with this as well. bush supporters have been cut off from getting the bookplates because of greedy people hoarding the bookplates solely for this purpose. this is just another example of why celebs do not sign TTM because of the deceiving letters they get from their "fans"

there are lots of ways to get money other than taking advantage of celebrities.

everybody has problems and that doesn't mean you should take advantage of people and then try to make them/others feel sorry for you. getting something for free and then selling it just seems like bad karma to me. but, to each his own and good luck with your sales since you need the money that bad but your excuses do not make me feel sorry for you
Recent Success- Amanda Beard, Peyton Manning, Shane Battier

Best TTM Success- George W Bush, Muhammad Ali, Al Kaline

Favorite IP- Gordie Howe, Frank Thomas, Joe Torre, Joe Dumars

I WILL OFFER $$$ FOR ANY INFORMATION THAT LEADS ME TO A VIA-VENUE SUCCESS

@Politician, for a 15 year old, you seem to have a lot of anger in you.. I've read some of your posts and comments on other users.
let's please skip the A*H word, and you may want to think about WHY they called you THAT (what you said they did call you) on the other thread. Is it possible you did or said something offensive first?

AND, I don't think it's good that you call your brother retarded, you will want to skip the R word too, if you love your brother.

I'm glad your plan to get extra signed bookplates didn't work. But you are lucky to have been given some by friends.
What you do with them is up to you. But what you have chosen to do right now with them (sell on eBay) does hurt the hobby (admit that, at least). Selling internally here would have been enough, if you ask me.

Besides, you posted on the For Sale thread and tell people to go to eBay. That means your using our forum to advertise directly a different website (compared to let's say, redirecting them to an album in Facebook or Photobucket where your autograph collection can be viewed - i.e. not for selling purposes).

Just my two cents worth... and advanced happy birthday to you Dad. =)

O.k. well I know what your thinking ;get out of this newbie but before you kick me out I just wanna say I came to this post to maybe possibly give an offer to the book plates so I scroll down to look if anybody has offered and you guys are giving each other hard times calling each other assholes is that necessary? I mean c'mon you guys are biting each others heads off saying you aren't trying for a job, my brother is mentally retarded.... etc is that really necessary? For someone who might be interested in the book plates for their sake could you act civil?

I understand everybody finds it tough finding a job so don't take it out on someone else because you cant get a job. But right back at the people who have a job don't rub it in their faces.

I'm not trying to make you guys become bff's I just want people to come to this post read all the nasty stuff but then realise that it can be pushed behind. No apologies needed. Just stop calling each other assholes!
Autographs recieved : Sharon Doger, Eva Schloss, Julie Andrews, Salman Rushdie and Melissa Joan Hart
