The mod pm'ed me and said people were complaining that I posted the address. I understand the point of not spamming an address. But, to be honest. I didn't want to get nailed with multiple pm's spamming me for the address. I thought I was doing what this topic was for "Add "Via Venue: Address". And if anyone had a problem with me posting an address. A simple pm to me explaining why I should remove it is fine. No need to run to a mod. Not trying to be snippy about it. I was just trying to help people out. I am not even sending anything to the film.

First of all...You could just email me first before running to a mod. If I refuse and it was an issue. You could then go to a mod. Also, if I put the address out it will be spammed. Yet, if everyone who wants to write asks me for the address won't it also be spammed also. Only those who don't want to im me won't write. Unless I cap out how many times I give the address out.

Your train of thought has been exposed as incoherant fear mongering. However, whether it can/will/could be spammed is irrelevant. The point is the ''big-brother'' editing of posts that break no rules. Mods are not here to implement their own agenda, they are here to uphold the rules of the board. If everyone hates this section so much, it should simply be gotten rid of.

And as someone else said, if you reply to every pm you get, it will still be ''spammed''. In fact, if we are all so worried about spam,why does this site exist? Won't all the db addy's get ''spammed''?

It was a pretty simple question. It's happened on here before and will happen again. No need to get out your thesaurus and use big words to try and sound all intelligent and serious.
