Maroon 5

Hello,

I received an autograph of the band Maroon 5.
I sent an e-mail to their manager, and after someone said they were (maybe) AP's I asked him for the truth.
He said they were real, and he gave them the picture. I want to know if they are real.
I also had to sign for the envelope.
Now, I compared the signatures with other autographs, they look similair, like 90%.

Compared to others I've seen I think it's a pre-print. However I sent a request yesterday and if I get one back just like yours I'll compare the two and see if they are indentical. I'm hoping there not, as I'd love to get an authentically signed photo.

It's not a preprint, I'm sure! They are AP or authentic.

I do have to agree that it does look like the other successes. I wrote to them vv in October and got a nice success from them. You had me worried about mine. But mine doesn't look like yours and the ones that people pointed out in your original thread (which I think is in the trash section now) I would see if anyone else gets an email success from them and compare it to theirs (I know Ryan J will help you if he gets something back.) Or try them again vv.
Here is my success (If I am wrong and you think it is a AP please let me know but there are no start dots and silver sharpies tend to dot easily at the end of signatures)

That one you posted looks to be authentic! Guess we'll have to wait and see what type of success I get then compare it to that. Plus the fact that your name is signed in the same color makes me think this is authentic too. is it a glossy type photo or the cardboard ones??

They provided the photo and it is a matte print not glossy. It is printed on Fujicolor Crystal archive paper. I just too a peek at their official site and they are pretty much still touring so I would send them a nice letter and SASE and you will probably have better luck getting an authentic. It appears they might have an AP machine at their agent.

I would say if one of these is real,then so is the other one.correct me if I am wrong, but I cannot think of a single band who sends ap. And if the manager (or whoever it was) gave you his word, then perhaps you should trust him. I don't see why he would lie to you, it seems pointles..

I have a feeling yours is real look really close at the Thanks part big time the H and you should see another letter behide it also your name is kind of messed up like maybe they miss spelled it and was trying to fix it or the maker they were useing was running out.

Yes, that's true. I asked him if it was fake and he said it is real. I showed him a picture, because it looks the same as mine. He said they signed a lot of autographs, the decade, that it is normal they look the same. He also told me he gave the picture to them. I found an autograph of Maroon 5 from someone who went to an meet&greet and they gave autographs to the people, because there was no time to sign, only for pictures! I don't think the autographs are AP, but pre-signed.

They're signed in completely different spots. If it was an AP they wouldn't go through that much trouble.
