Got two today and one was wrestling. Finally got Hardcore legend Terry Funk. He signed the 2010 Topps and the Funk Brothers Topps Heritage card I sent. He also sent a signed price list that said "To (me) Dont be cheap buy some merchandise The Funker " I agree with what DeathBoy said and think he is catching up on his fanmail.

As for posting successes other than wrestling I had a member on this forum object to it so as I said before I did not mean to offend or bother anyone and I will, from here on out, post wrestling successes only.

I'm trying to figure how to send a former wrestler a T Shirt that I want him to sign. I talked with him and he told me as long as I send a SASE along with it sure no problem he will sign the shirt. Can someone please help me on how to ship out the shirt along with a SASE. I would greatly appreciate this a lot. Thanks guys.

Terry Funk - 9/17/09 - 12/9/10 - Signed my photo and index card! Also sent an ad for some stuff that he's selling and the prices for them signed and such. I'm thinking of buying the book myself. I bet it's a heII of a read, plus signed by the Hardcore legend? Awesome! Anyways, I had given up on this one a long time ago. What a pleasant holiday season surprise after 450 days! lol.. send it all in a large flat rate box, use a large padded envelope inside as your SASE and you should be alright. Once the SASE is addressed and stamped LITERALLY cover the entire thing (excluding the opening of course in tape to support it upon it's return. those envelopes are really dainty when they're filled with something soft so the tape will prevent it from being ripped open easily while being handled and such during it's return.

I had a shirt I ordered from Scott Lost that either fell out of the envelope during transport or was just flat out taken out due to a hole in the bottom of the envelope he sent it in.

I've had success just using bubble mailers for the shirts. They're flexible enough to fit everything into but don't tear open as easily as the regular padded envelopes I've used. I've had great success buying them in bulk from companies going out of business and selling off stock. It usually costs about $3 to $3.50 each way for postage.

Congrats klingon ! If you sent yours in 09 he must have really gotten backed up ! Good to see that he treats his fans with enough respect to respond to everyone no matter how long ago they wrote him. He is truly a legend !
