What happens if you send a letter and SASE without a PIC
If I dont provide the Celeb anything to sign, but in my letter ask for a pic signed, what happens?
I just started on my letter writing and will be sending stuff out in the mail tomorrow.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Michaelmr2
Welcome to the forum
Sending a picture is optional. You can send one if you wish, but if you don't, that's not a problem.
In your letter somewhere, asked for an autographed photo (if you don't send one of your own.) Many celebrities will send out an autographed photo to you if you don't send one for them to sign.
They will use your SASE to send the photo back to you. Just make sure to add enough postage on it to get it back to you.
Happy collecting

Thanks,
Yes that is what I did, asking for an authentic autographed photo to be returned in the SASE.
All of the reviews I have seen so far have been of people who sent photos or dvd covers or something. So that is why I asked.
Anyone have a specific experience they would like to share about a time where nothing to be signed was sent?

Hi Michaelmr2
Not a problem
You've probably been unlucky enough to look at the feedback where people have sent stuff to be signed. If you look at a few more, I know you will find some where people have just sent a SASE.
Personally, I like to send photos, but if I can't find one I like I'll send them a SASE.

Heya, just to add though that this is taking a risk. There are celebrities like Sir Ian Holm for example, if you don't send a picture to them they will send you a PP but if you do send a picture they will sign it authenticly...
Then again there are people like Sir Ian McKellen who will provide their own authentic signed picture if you don't send one

But in the majority of cases, celebrities will be more than happy to send out one of their own autographed pictures.

Look in the current and upcomming productions forum, it has movie addresses and wos in themMichaelmr2 wrote:Ok based on that, how do you find out where to send things.
Like one of the examples was for Johnny Depp while he was filming Pirates of the Carrabbean 2. How do you know where they will be?
