Re: Wrestling Collectors?
Nice, Roulette! It’s sad that it took me awhile to remember who the TNA world champ is! Then I remembered it is Mr. Anderson who I have a request out too. That’s good to know that you’re getting stuff back I hope I am as well. Next few days should be fun to see what is in the mailbox.
Re: Wrestling Collectors?
I just started collecting in January and I have sent to a few former wrestlers. I got Nikolai Volkoff back in 12 days. Used the address in database. He signed an index card I sent.

Despite the fact that you started out in here HORRIBLY by calling someone a jerk, I'll give you all the info you need right here. but, since you weren't very nice, I'm going to do it in a code that you have to crack. Here comes your clue.....

Actually he started by politely asking a question, then cubfan responded by with a not so very polite message. But, as usual, its the person who reacts to cubsfan attitude that gets labeled as the bad guy and not cubsfan.
Re: Wrestling Collectors?
He asked politely, yet he showed absolutely that he'd done absolutely 0 research to find anything on his own. The fact that he even asked only shows that he found the thread and was curious to find any address he could get his hands on. Type in 'Wrestling Collectors' in the top box or simply jump back to the first page of the thread and he woulda found a hell of a lot of addresses. Cubsfan simply told him how to find addresses without them being forked over, and Rupy made it even easier by virtually telling him where to find a more updated list.rocksoldier wrote: Actually he started by politely asking a question, then cubfan responded by with a not so very polite message. cubsfan didn't just simply tell him how to find addresses without them being forked over, he did it in a way that could only be taken in the way that allarndawsme316 took it... as rude and unnecessary. If you don't want to answer someones question because you feel they didn't do enough to find it on their own, then don't respond. Or maybe allarndawsme316 is new to the world of forums and doesn't know much about how they work. Everyone here was new at one time. So maybe cubsfan could have just explained to him how to search, and after that, if allarndawsme316 continued to ask people for things he could search for himself, a comment like he made would be appropriate.

Now to address the argument at hand.
Everyone was new here. True, but I don't recall anyone posting and asking for "what addresses can folks can give for current wrestlers or even past wrestlers and their success addresses, not mattering if the stars are tna/roh/wwe/anything."
Quite frankly, I find asking for that much whether you are newbie or not to be rather rude to those that have worked their tails off to procure addresses - no matter if they are very public or not.
I directed him in the right direction and also tried to set a precedent by telling that we weren't here to just feed him addresses.
If you wanna be a mamma bird and chew up the address worms for him, by all means do so.
I don't have that type of time on my hands, though.
