"La Cage Aux Folles" Cast Success

While on a recent trip to New York City, I was lucky enough to meet several of the actors/singers starring in the critically acclaimed Broadway musical "La Cage Aux Folles". After seeing the show, guests were able to stand outside of the theater doors and chat, meet, etc, with the stars of the show (and have them sign Playbills). The new star of the show, Broadway legend and film actor Harvey Fierstein (was Edna Turnblad in "Hairspray" on Broadway and appeared in films such as "Ms. Doubtfire" and "Independence Day"), also signed the Playbill. I was so thrilled! It was such a fun night!

Did Jeffrey Tambor sign? If so, did he take photos with fans?

Unfortunately no. When he came out of the theatre he apologized and said he had to be somewhere (I think friends of his were waiting). Some people were lucky enough to get photos of him getting into his car, but that was all. He seemed like a nice guy, though. He was absolutely fantastic in the show!
