BAD NEWS EVERYONE.
Filming has yet again been delayed due to Peter Jackson being hospitalized
No date has been confirmed yet but a rep for the film says “a slight delay to the start of filming”.

Just to keep everyone updated

- I have no idea if the movie is still filming in New Zealand. As you may know, New Zealand has had an Earthquake which is the worst natural disaster in the history of New Zealand. And..... it hit around the region where The Hobbit was supposed to be filmed. It's about a 5 hour drive from Queenstown (the original shooting place). The hobbit was supposed to be filmed in the South Island.
The movie may have been delayed, who knows. Because as of now, THERE HAS BEEN NO PRESS RELEASE TO CONFIRM OR DENY FILMING DATES AND RUMORS

- Well, by now, the address for this has been posted all around the forum. The chances of the cast replying to 50+ fan mail when they are shooting this is really slim.
It was fine when 9 people knew where to send it to. Now everyone knows. So, its your call on whether to send or not. If you've sent, cross you're fingers for it to come back to you!

I don't know. But I think the people who posted threads about it didn't know about keeping it safe. I definitely know that's it's not the people who I gave it out to though.
