I don't see why people don't like sharing thier info. It's not like they're trying to STEAL your copy. Share the love of autograph and where can anyone get one. Mr. Ripken is selling and signing in-person. Let all of use get one too. If we don't buy one it won't be a great seller.
Too all interested
He'll be signing his new book next month:
Cal Ripken Jr., Baseball Hall of Famer, signing copies of Hothead
3/14/11 7:30 PM at Politics & Prose - Connecticut Avenue NW. Washington DC.
Check out other book signers at link be low

Yea, you can't beat this deal. At one point, there was a promo code for 40% off any one item at B&N. I ordered 2 copies a couple of weeks back...may have spent $32 total for 2 genuine Ripken autos.

Re: Cal Ripken Jr
I had gotten him at a book signing a few years ago. I knew he wasn't allowed to sign anything other than the book so I had personally handed him an autograph request with a 1991 card in it. Never got a return on that one. Guess I should have enclosed a few $$$...

Over 9,000 requests sent since 1986.

Re: Cal Ripken Jr
Well I'm going to meet him when he comes to DC on his book signing. I email the store and they have stated LOTS and LOTS of time that he will not sign anything other then his books sold at this store. They also told me that anyone seen with anything other then the book will be ask to leave the line. Plus he will be in store for only 2hrs and will leave once 2hrs have reached. With no signed book plates being handed out.
He seems like one the of the worst book signing I will be attending to but I really don't care because I will meet one of my favoirte MLB player from my favoirte team Orioles. Plus I will get 2 genuine Cal auto for less then $40. Meet him at a real sport signing once and he charges at least $100 for an auto. So this book signing tour is a steal for getting his auto.

Good Luck! I'm sure the lines will be long. If you take a friend, have them take a photo while your up next to him. Other than getting thier autograph is having a photo with him if not next to him. (Below) My then girlfriend and now wife took the photo's of me with Julio Franco and Ruben Sierra from the Texas Rangers at a signing back in the 90's. I have a collection photos.
Just like the old saying says....You should of see the big one that got away. Well..... I got ALI's auto (x4) in a hotels lobby with my wife and son. I DIDN'T HAVE A CAMERA and he was posing with the autograph seekers. Talk about the GREAT one.
Now with Tech. era here hopfully someone will take a photo of you and Cal
Good Luck!
