What's you all's thoughts on how many times one should send a wrestling talent?

And how many items do you think should be sent per mailing?

Personally, I think if you mail someone more than twice that it does a disservice to fellow collectors.

As for item numbers, quality over quantity. If I can get a good 8 x 10 signed, I'd rather have it sent along than four trading cards.

Your thoughts?
I collect for myself and my nephew and dont sell mine off, with that being said here is my take on this post:

I usually test out an address with a card or 2 to see if I personally get a success. If I find that an address works for me, I'll invest in a photo or maybe a multi-signed item for a
project(s) I'm working on. I do space my requests out by a 2-3 months.

Today was a good mail day. I got Alex Shelly and Rhino autographed cards and the CM Puck Base Platinum relic I won on eBay today. Along with that I received my 3rd success for my WWE Platinum set. Eli Cottonwood. He wrote "(my name) Stay Sane ! Eli Cottonwood 2011" Took less than two weeks from the FCW address

Congrats on some more great purchases and another awesome return, bro! Have that Eli card out to him myself currently. lol.. I haven't seen a success from Dusty c/o FCW for a while. Maybe there's one slipping my mind.. which is possible. lol.. Worth a shot though.

Today's success..

Steve Olsonoski (Steve O) - 2/7-3/4 - Signed 2 photos and an ic. I was STOKED with this return. I am a sucker for former AWA stars as I was a massive fan of AWA when I was a kid. Here's the pics..

I’ve been on a big AWA kick lately watching the DVD WWE put out and it’s such good stuff. Of course I might be biased cause I’m from Minnesota and I’ll love and praise the AWA no matter what. If you have the Tag team DVD Deathboy there is a good match with Bockwinkel/Stevens vs. Bastin and Robinson. 2 outta 3 falls and it’s pretty good.

Cool success with Steve O! I need to get some more AWA wrestlers autos. I’ll have to work on that! :D

Dude, I'm a real sucker for the AWA and World Class also. They came on ESPN when I was a kid and I was addicted to them. Being from Virginia, I was a Crockett Promotions guy through and through, but both those organizations were something new to me and I LOVED them. I do have the tag team dvd and that was a great bout. I am as addicted to wrestling dvd collecting as autograph collecting. lol.. My library is INSANE.

I hear you man. I still love WCCW! That and the WWF are my 2 all time favorite companies. To me it went WWF, WCCW, NWA, AWA. I loved them all but WWF and WCW were my 2 faves. Later on in life I appreciated NWA & AWA more and by watching the 70’s stuff AWA was ahead of it’s time really. It’s just a shame after Hogan left things really went down hill. But I’ve always been a big Nick Bockwinkel fan. That guy could go even in his 50’s he was out wrestling guys half his age!

I actually met Greg Gagne 2 times last year and he’s a great guy. I showed him my Hennig & Gagne action figures and he joked that someone should have paid me to take them. Also I had an AWA t-shirt on which he loved! And, also signed while I was wearing it. It was a cool moment I got my pic with him and Jim Brunzell.

It’s a shame that many of the WCCW guys are gone. I’d love to get some more from WCCW! I did write Bill Mercer last year. What a nice guy he is!

Awesome to meet someone with the same AWA and Bockwinkel obsession as myself. lol.. I can't agree more about Nick.. an incredible talent. That's a really cool Gagne story. He seems like a really nice and humble man. Got to appreciate that. I hear ya on the WCCW tragedies. A real shame what happened to so much talent there. I'd love to have something signed by every Von Erich, but I feel it would be impossible to find and even if I did have it.. I wonder if it wouldn't just make me odd to look at it. Ya know? Basically the way I feel when I see the Benoit autograph in my collection. Meh.. who knows. And yes.. Bill Mercer seems like a heII of a nice guy.
