What to say in a letter?

Hi all, Im completely new to this and would like to start collecting celebrity autographs, just not exactly sure how to go about it?

What do I need to write in the letter, and what do I need to send??

Lucy,

I usually start off by telling the person I am a fan and which movies I liked. I then ask if they would either send me an autographed photo or sign the enclosed photos. I thank them for their time and sign the letter including my address.

Things I include:
Letter of Request
Photos when possible
Self Addressed Stamped envelope

Thank you, what happens in terms of postage?

How do I know how much its going to cost to send back etc?

If you live in the US, most letters cost about $1.05, that includes the letter of request, a photo of whatever celebrity you're writing, and a SASE. On the SASE I usually put 2 44 cent stamps on the envelope. If you send more than 2 photos, the price goes up on postage
