No, they don't sign baseballs. According to the link provided by soxrox78, if you send something other than a baseball card or photo, it will get returned unsigned.

Topher I know for a fact the Tigers dont sign baseballs. I sent Johnny Damon a baseball and it was returned unsigned with a note saying that the Tigers would be happy to sign baseball cards but they had limited space so anything bigger than a card will be retuned unsigned. It is nice to know that some Tigers sign for free while some sign for a good charity. I really respect that/

If you go to the Tiger's website, they clearly state that they don't sign baseballs through the charity...only flats. Still a great way to get some big names that may not otherwise sign.

I don't know about Jacoby or Bucholz singing, I've sent to them care of Spring training and Fenway a bunch of times and never heard back. The red Sox in general are horrible signers. Only one who WAS great with TTM was Okajima and it appears he has now stopped signing.

He's stopped? Ellsbury and Buchholz I can understand but Okajima's disappointing, I have my letter ready to go out to him next spring... I'll send anyways and see what happens

With Okajima, that's a tough call. Don't forget he just returned to Boston recently. He is great in person, which is usually a reflection of whether or not he will sign TTM. While he was on the DL and then on rehab everyone was sending to Boston, so it could be a matter of giving him time to catch up. But that's just my thinking.
And yes the Red Sox, in general, are tough TTM. They are tough IP too. Even the AAA farm club was tough this year IP, tougher than they've ever been.
