Just be polite, write a short letter, please and thank you, that sort of thing. Enclose a photo and an SAE.

As long as you're sincere and pleasant I don't think that it really matters what you write, just write it, post it and then forget about it until it comes back.

Celebrities get so many autograph requests each day, that's what they expect. And he does sign ttm for others. He will not be surprised if you ask for autograph. That's what many celebs will do for their fans to she their appreciation. If you don't want to send a request you can also buy one.
