I would like to write a letter to Christopher Lloyd to have an autograph. But I don't know what to say to him. Can you help me please ?
And to send him the letter, I have to put in my envelope: my letter and another envelope ? I don't understand this, Can you also help me for the initiative to follow ? Thanks.

Hello. :)
Start off by writing a nice letter first. Just say what you like about the person, how long you've been a fan, and how that person has influenced your life. Remember to include a picture.
You put your letter and the picture in the envelope and put another envelope (with return postage) in the bigger envelope. Then send it and wait.
I hope I helped. If you have anymore questions feel free to ask.

Ok, thank you. But I didn't think that it was necessary to put an image inside, I believed that he sent an image with his autograph.
And for this image, I have to look for one on Web and print her or not ?

Some people send pictures, others don't. With some people, if you don't send your own picture, they will send an autopenned picture or the secretary will sign it. You can find pictures on Google images. That's where I go. :D

It depends on the size of the photo. I send 4x6 photos so I use envelopes that are 10.4 cm x 24.1 cm in length.

For the smaller envelope that's going to come back to you, I always make sure it's at least an 8x10 size (i use 9x12). Even if you send a smaller picture to be signed, they may include an 8x10 picture along with the pictures you sent. That happened to me when writing to one actress, as I sent 3 4x6 pictures and when it came back, I received my 3 pictures signed, along with a larger photo she included.

Hope this helps! {up}
