Fanmail Question

Im not sure if this belongs here, but What does Extinct mean when it comes a celebrity fan mail address? Could it mean they don't get any mail? Someone asked this person I like for a celebrity if they ever get any mail from fans and the celeb replied with one word "Extinct" Thanks for any kind of help!

I'm guessing that what the Celebrity meant. Is this person fairly well known these days? But I do know some celebs just never get fanmail.

Yeah. He's really popular, but not as popular as the cast members from "Glee" or "Harry Potter" cast, etc. been very well known and he's from and lives in my state. Someone asked on his Facebook like page if he recieives any mail or of its Extinct and he replies with one word "Exinct." I tried asking about it in an email and I get no response. Oh so it means no mail then? If so, wow. I'm surprised. . I feel bad for this person he gets not one single piece of mail from his viewers. It's really sad.
