I wrote to her 2 years ago and have to say that is was NOT a pleasant experience!!

I sent her 4 photos of the Little House... cast, unfortunatly she was not in any of the photos. She scribbled on all of them and said she was not in any of them and therefore I did not watch the show and that I wasn't a true fan of hers, and that I did not know who she was.

She sent my letter back and scribbled all over it, correcting my grammer. She wrote rude comments on a seperate piece of paper....

Over all, after recieving this responce, I thought, who the hell are you lady...your a nobody! I have had bigger and better successes from LEGENDARY actors like, Doris Day, June Allyson, Lauren Bacall, Charlton Heston, Tony Curtis and Sophia Loren.

I wouldn't waste my time writing to her again!

I find it rude to do what she did to Ryan, and to you. Who is she to correct people's grammar? I don't find it at all funny. She gave me an extremely rude reply too. It's not funny.

I've just written to her. I put some personal things in it as to why the show means a lot to me. I sure hope she isn't petty or rude to me after that.

I wrote to her when I was just starting the hobby. I didn't know much about it and I had NO idea what a SASE was. I sent her a photo to sign. She signed it and sent it back-but not without telling me how angry she was. Of all things, she used sticky notes to write me back, and she basically yelled at me for not sending a SASE.
If she wants to keep fans, she's doing a really cruddy job. No need to be so grouchy and hurtful to others. I don't care who she is, it's no way to treat fans.

That sounds horrible! If she was so annoyed about you not sending a SASE why didn't she just not reply? Instead she had to make you feel bad for spending time on a thoughtful letter to her. Hopefully it was just a bad day for her and she didn't mean to get so annoyed. And I suppose you got something back.. ;)

Thanks for the opinions guys!! I personally didn't & still don't have a problem with her writing all over my letter. I mean after all she played such a convincing role as Mrs. Olseson and that's the type of reply you'd kind of expect from her. I will definitely cherish mine and appreciate the time she took to correct my grammar. We definitely know she didn't have to fake her role for the camera.
