Letters to Presidents, VP's and FL's

I have my own website http://www.presidentsgraves.com and for the fun of it, I just mailed 14 letters (June 6, 2011) to Betty Ford, Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter, Walter Mondale, Nancy Regan, George H W and Barbara Bush, Dan Quayle, Bill and Hillary Clinton, Al Gore, George W and Laura Bush, Dick Cheney, Barack and Michelle Obama and last but not least Joe Biden. I did emails to some, but also sent letters to the same people. It is better to send both that way they will get it some how. I asked them to look at my website to see what they thought about it and I was going to put the letters on my website. It will be interesting to see how many response I will actually get and how long it will take. More the likely they wont look at my website and I will get a form letter back saying thank you for writing ect. with a autopen signature. Anyone know about what the average turn around is to get a response? I was going to send a letter to Caroline Kennedy and both of LBJ's daughters.

I got a scanned copy of a reply that I sent to Bill Clinton thru his foundation website. I am thinking that more then likely I will get this kind of response. I can say that this website was very helpful with getting address. The one for Al Gore his website had a different address and when I went to email someone at the website I got a bad email address reply. So I used the address on this website to see what will happen.

Finally total of letters and emails drum roll please................. close to 40 sent request.
After I got to thinking about it, I thought to myself why not send something to a member of the Presidents and First Lady's family. I couldnt find any addresses for President Johnsons and Presidents Nixon's daughters so I just sent a email to their Libraries and to the LBJ national park. I sent a email to the JFK Foundation since I couldnt find a address for Caroline Kennedy. I did find a website or address for at least one member of the Kennedy family. I sent a letter and email to Ron Regan Jr and Michael Reagan (President and Mrs. Regan's sons). As I get something back in the mail I will keep everyone updated as to what I get from all of the letters and emails I have sent.

i just got one of my letters i sent out back. it was to patrick kennedy and it was returned as not deliverable as addressed. if anyone may have a current address please let me know. i sent it to pawtucket ri address
i also received the letter i sent to christopher lawford back as attempted not known

I just heard back from Jimmy Carter. He sent back the letter I sent to him with a note on the side. It took about 8 weeks to hear something back. Read on his Presidental Center website that about 8 to 10 weeks is the normal return time. It must have been worth him looking at, there was something stapled to the letter I sent. Hope this is the beging of hearing back from all my letters I sent. Maybe Mrs. Carter will be the next one I hear from.
