Got back Dan Jurgens today! Sent to him a few months ago an LOR, SASE, and a few index cards asking for a sketch of SuperMan, but today I receive a nice BatMan sketch. I'm still happy because its awesome to have a sketch from him no matter what!! :D

Today received cartoonist Rick Parker in my mailbox. :D Heres the info:
So on May 16, 2011 I sent Mr. Parker 2 artist sketch cards, an LOR and an SASE. This man is so wonderful because today I received my 2 sketch cards sketched with drawings of Harry Potty (His parody of Harry Potter) and he wrote Hi Katrina! on that one and his version of Percy Jackson he wrote Oh yeah? So what?!! on that one. He also sent me a business card with a personalized sketch on the back. (The one of Harry Potty with the plunger..) He wrote, Hey Katrina this is for you! One the business card... He also sent me two signed books Harry Potty and the Deathly Boring and Breaking Down (His parody of the Twilight series...). He also sent a pin which he signed on the back. He didn't use the SASE that I sent because of the extra stuff that he sent.
Address Used:
**PRIVATE** (But you can contact him on FaceBook and ask him for the address...)

My quest to get the entire 1994 DC Master Series set signed is getting tangibly close to completion. While I am technically still trying to get in touch with two artists (Joe Phillips and Paul Lee) I am hopeful with a lead on Paul Lee, and I am still hoping someone will take me up on my offer to pay them to stand in Joe Phillips' line at the San Diego Comic Con. The most recent contact I have made is Lou Harrison, and while I had to go the route of getting a commission piece to get my ultimate goal achieved, hey, I will get what I wanted, and buy an original piece of comic art too.

Percent complete so far - 89 art cards in the set - 76 in hand (85%) - 3 more coming (89%) - 24 artists in the set - 21 in hand (88%) - 1 more coming (92%)

Seriously though, if anyone is going to the San Diego Comic Con, and willing to stand in one line for me for a fee, please let me know.

xmen610 - are you willing to post some pics of some of your two-face sketches?

I would really like to see several of the artist's take on two-face, particularly Trimpe, Grell, Templesmith, Young, and Suydam. I assume Suydam's is Zombiefied, and Young's is very "squiggly", but I bet they are all very interesting.
