The lockout will be over during the month of July.
I sure hope it will be over by then

They are working on it now. Its a matter of how long the 2 sides will take to finalize a CBA, and its expected to take 3-4 more weeks. The ownership side wants one done by Mid-July to preserve preseason games, which line their pockets nicely. Ownership realizes that losing preseason games means losing a lot of money. Both sides realize that they're gonna be feeling a pinch if any kind of games are missed and there is obviously a push to finally get it over with. There is about a 4% differential in what they're haggling about right now. The current proposal has the players taking 44% of the pie, and the PA is willing to settle for more along the lines of 48%. That is as far away as they are now.

also are they good signers
these are the kind of guys that you should just try c/o their teams when the lock-out ends. Odds are they dont get alot of mail so if they are good signers, you"ll get them back. Delivering it to their dinner table probably isnt going to help you with these guys. its just wasted time looking for home addys of guys that dont require it.
Believe it or not I've seen failures from Oher c/o Ravens, so he may just not do TTM. I've seen people get Knox c/o Bears so I'd agree to wait on him. The rest I can see waiting on, except for maybe Pace. I personally haven't had a whole lot of luck sending to player c/o Jets.

I also agree on Luigi's point about the lockout. My guess is we'll have a deal and things will be up and running the week of July 11th.

Still haven't sent out my latest batch of requests yet. Definitely be doing that tomorrow when I pick up some more stamps.

I got Oher back in college and actually had his college address before he was drafted but obviously he's moved since. Id say try Sean Tuohy, but he's probably been lambasted with mail for Michael since the movie and since he's been in th NFL. I think its too late on Oher..gotta be early and not late. There's no law against following college football and seeing who is good and worth trying before they make the pros.

I've seen people get Stanzi when he was in college, so I'm sure that you could get him c/o team (once he signs with them)

I had tried to get Christian Okoye previously through his foundation but got RTS'ed.

I did get a hold of him though recently and agreed to do some volunteer work for him. Really cool guy. We sat around shooting the breeze after his kids camp ended this afternoon and he signed some cards for me in person. Great guy! Great success!

(Also got former LA Ram Leroy Irvin too.)

Awesome Okoye success, he was always a beast.

I also wanted to mention, not sure who tried to send to Barrett Ruud recently to his home address, but I saw a success for him c/o home on another site. They didn't post the address, but there's hope for whoever sent it out recently.

I finally sent my request that I mentioned a couple days ago out yesterday. Fingers crossed I finally break this slump I'm in.
