I wrote a really long letter to Zooey (and She & Him; M.Ward) last summer and never sent it because I didn't know where to send it.
Which address should you suggest i send it to?
I'm so happy for you!!!!
I hope I can get a reply!
Please help!

Well, this is probably not what you want to hear but it's 100% honesty: I don't know exactly WHICH one I sent it too, but I'm gonna try to help you!
I figured writing to her again, at the address that gives pre-prints at best, was a fruitless effort.
So I remember distinctively looking for her band's label. I wrote to her band's label. I don't remember which address, or how I obtained it but the envelope was sent directly from her band's management and had an address on it. So, I'm gonna write that one down for you and other fans.
But I would advise that if you guys write a letter to her, you better be REAL fans... and of the music too... not just of her, because you probably won't get anything back if you're just trying to add to your collection or just get a free c.d. or something. I wouldn't accuse any of you of that, of course, because I know you are all really into the people you write to but I am just worried someone who doesn't post as much might be going after with not as great intentions and you know that hurts everyone because they will decide that sending out signed things is a bad idea, after all. Obviously, my wait was also a really long time so that would hurt true fans of hers and his trying to just have a response a lot I'm sure. Matt Ward is also amazing for the effort he has in the band, and for his own music (though admittedly, not really into his own music/other band too much yet but I mentioned how well they really seem to work together... which is the honest truth!). I know Zooey is the one to go after here, though, but the thing is.. so do they.
The address on the envelope is:
Zeitgeist Artist Management
660 York Street
Suite 216
San Fransisco, CA 94110

Now if you guys can help me... though this is a little off topic, does anyone know if there's a special frame/display made for a signed c.d. like this? So I don't have to take it apart to frame it, because it's so nice and it's not on a 'booklet'? I would really like to hang it up in my room since my walls are red with white trim and I just feel like this is the PERFECT match!
