I got banned from that site for not giving out my address info although I posted a great Steve Young address...
It's a great site for information, but I don't post there. I don't like posting in a whole bunch of different places, takes the fun out of it for me. I just post here and on sportscollectors.net, mainly because that site organizes my successes and failures for me to help me keep track.

As it is I only really post on a couple threads on this site, moreso this one than the other. I really don't even read any of the other posts on this site, since it's mostly non-sports related as you said before. That's why I just login and jump straight to my threads I regularly post in. You can keep it all sports on here, just login and click on View Your Posts. That way it skips all the garbage and only displays threads you have posted in.
Some favorites from my collection, so far, are...

Favorite IP Autographs: Chris Cooley, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, Faith Hill, John Riggins, Bruce Smith

Favorite TTM Autographs: Stephen Davis, Jim Lachey, Peyton Manning, Mark McGwire, Chris Samuels

Favorite Sports Teams: Washington Redskins, Boston Celtics, Boston Red Sox

Yeah, I'll only post on here in the sports related threads and to post my successes for feedback. I mainly use sports cards forum and sports collectors to get addresses, and I'll probably file my successes there also.

Yeah I got a couple of Bernie's that I can waste postage sending out. Score Hot Gun 1991, Game Day 1992, and Action Packed 1992. I gotta get Phil Simms first though while he's hot and signing cards at breakneck pace. Been itching to get his ProSet SB MVP card signed.- Oh wait, maybe, just maybe- I can send them BOTH out! Wow. lol.

Sportscardforum.com just pirates the successes from sportscards.net anyway from what I've seen.

Yeah Shadow, I figured you were using sportscards.net when I saw that random monte coleman success up on the recent successes board. I used to go to great extents to post my successes and addresses up there, until people started putting rude comments in there harassing those who didn't put addresses up.

Amazing, I saw a Warren Sapp success from NFL network recently- took well over a year, but it happened, so there is hope yet. Now if only Haywood still loved me- sniff, sniff...

This is an un-related basketball TTM question. I sent a LOR & basketball card to Gary Payton, but no SASE. I mid-understood the concept of SASE at the time. Gary Payton is one of the best basketball signers right now though, look at all of the successes on this site and others. I haven't seen a failure yet. But, I was wondering if you think that I'll get my card back autographed? Or will I get a RTS or get it lost in the mail? It looks like this guy: viewtopic.php?t=218296 has Gary Payton stamps if you look closely, and I doubt that the guy had them. So I'm thinking he didn't send a SASE and Gary payton sent them back to him in his own envelope and with his own stamps. But the handwriting kind of looks like a kids. So idk. And I can't pm that guy for some reason, so I can't ask him. Sorry for this unrelated question, I just don't know where the basketball threads are.

I'm gonna tell you how you solve that little problem. At least, how someone that really wanted an autograph would...send it again. Its an 88 cent investment and worst case scenario, you get both back. Very simple problem there brother...write another letter and throw a card or 2 in WITH SASE this time (idk why you'd ever assume people sent stuff back on their own dime, but whatever). Or, hold out hope he'll send it for you. Most people won't.

Anyway, nice return today from Seahawks 2nd round pick John Moffitt. Added 2 pictures with my index cards. Once again, a home address. This was the time, during a lockout, to hit the home addys hard. I got back quite a few NFL players via home addy during the lockout, notably Joe Haden. I think the lockout actually helped me get NFL ttm...now they're all gonna be busy soon. Don't expect a boost in returns when these guys are all cramming for a season in 2 weeks.

Yeah I just typically post successes on sportscollectors.net and not addresses, since I only really use that to track successes of my own. Only time I'll post an address is if it's one I got from that site, so I'll repost it to get it back to the top of the page. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you on Sapp, leebo. I'm still hoping to hear back from Marshall Faulk c/o NFL Network, but not holding out much hope.

Luigi is right about the home addresses. Successes may actually go down after the lockout is lifted c/o team, or take longer to come back. Just keep that in mind as you send out after the lockout.

I only have one card of him, but I could print a picture of him and make something. But, when I was younger I never sent a SASE, and usually didn't send an item and got stuff back. This was around '05-'09. I've gotten Barry Zito, Steve Young, and some fan packs TTM before without a SASE. Although I did send Steve Young a picture.

Go up to your local sports card store and get a card, or order one on the Internet. Gary Payton was a popular player so I'm sure you could find some unsigned 8x10s of him on eBay. What's the problem here?
