Sent LOR and SASE to Carey Mulligan, agents address in database, on April 28th 2011. UK to UK request.

Received back today a signed photo. No idea where the pink dye came from- I don't think it's part of the picture nor my red "Do Not Bend" stamp since the inside of the envelope is clean and the outside stamp is not smudged.

I wrote to her a few months ago and sent that exact same photo! The pink parts aren't a stain - they're just a style effect used by the photographer in editing. I take it you didn't send the picture? Just out of interest, how big is it?
Hopefully I'll be getting mine back in the not too distant future now! Congratulations again on the success!

Congrats on your success... Carey Mulligan is a sweet actress.
If you Google image 'Carey Mulligan Interview' you will see that you aren't going mad, this is from the shoot she did with the magazine 'Interview'.
