Miley Cyrus Acer Arena Failure ? Maybe ? What do you think ?

I would say it's a failure. I am in Aus as well and all the years I have sent vv requests within my own country they always comeback within a week or two. I have never in all my years of doing this had a via venue I sent in my own country come back months later from another country. First time for something though.

Have you emailed acer & asked them if they passed on the mail to her, did she sign that night etc... Last time I heard nothing back I emailed the venue & they told me the artist did not sign & they just had all the items still there so I asked them to return mine.

I have never ever used IRC, I always just use Aussie stamps. I put 4 .60 cent stamps on my a4 return envelope & so far for 2011 I have had 130 successes doing this.

Have you cehcked that the venue you are sending to for Gomez passes on mail - you can save yourself alot of time & money by emailing first & getting a yes or noas to whether they will pass on mail and often you will even get a contact name to send it care of.

No they don't. I have seen people from different countries claim that they got overseas items back with their home country stamps, but I don't believe it.

More likely, a kindly celeb has sent their own envelope and purchased the proper postage from their country.

Why would I make this up????? I have ALWAYS for years now used australian stamps on my ssae and get my returns back NO problems from USA, UK, France etc in my OWN envelope with MY aussie stamps on it. This year so far I have had 130 successes like this & off the top of my head I cant tell you the numbers for pervious years. The only celeb who DID Not use my envelope & stamps was Celine Dion so thats 1 out of 130 for 2011.

I do not care if you do not believe me but I have no reason to lie, I have never purchased international stamps or IRC in my whole time collecting & I have been doing this since 1983.

I even have this info on my website under how I send requests & under each success that it came back in my ssae.

Besides the fact I have NO reason to lie I certainly would not tell someone else to do it if it did NOT work. Maybe it does not work in the UK kimmylee but it certainly works for me here in Australia with Australian stamps.

Yes Jaffer the USA, UK, Europe - any overseas country I have sent to my items come back in my professional photo mailer I have sent with air mail sticker on & 4 x .60 cent aussie stamps. The only one this year that did not was my response from Celine Dion.

That's REALLY odd. There's no way it would work ONLY for Australia. I admit, I've had some celebs take my Canadian SASEs with them to the US and mail them with my Canadian stamps still on and they got here fine, but that was only a couple of times so I figured maybe the post office people missed a couple of letters, but if it's worked for you over 100 times, I'd say that's more than the post office missing a couple of letters! haha. That's REALLY strange though. I mean, it would put post offices out of business if people could do what you do! So I don't know how you get away with it, but you're quite lucky Wish I could do what you do; would save me a whole lot of money!
