Mailed: 6/10/11 (2 - 5x7) (1 Month Turnaround)
Received: 7/14/11 Letter Stating Unable To Sign & Un-autographed Picture of Himself.
Dale Jr. & Jeff Gordon total 4 wins for the past 4 years... however they are for the most part the only drivers in NASCAR who won't sign autographs. If those were my stats I would sign any and everything a fan sent me. What do they waste all of there time doing? It's obviously not winning. Won't sign autographs, then I won't buy your merchandise... that simple. I sent it to Hendrick Motors but don't rememeber the address. Sorry guys.
Sorry for the Rejection. Friend of mine met him in-person last month and got me a personalized and signed photo!! He signed for like three hours that day!
Check out My Autograph Collection! NONE are for sale or Trade. Sorry. - LIKE My Official Facebook Fan Page!
DUE TO MY BUSY WORK SCHEDULE OUTSIDE OF AUTOGRAPH COLLECTING & INCREASING SPAMMING ISSUES I CAN NO LONGER GIVE OUT OR LOOK UP VIA VENUE OR EMAIL ADDRESSES. TOO MANY 'FANS' WITH THE WRONG COLLECTING MOTIVES ON HERE KEEP ABUSING THESE TYPES OF ADDRESSES AND END UP SELLING THE SIGNED ITEMS LATER ON FOR PROFIT

Maybe he is a good signer in person but I was a Dale Jr. fan for so long then sent a picture to autograph and he has not won a race in 3 years. If I had not won a race in that long I would sign any and everything given to me through the mail or in person.
Just can't support a driver that my experince was a rejection letter when here I am buying T-Shirts for $30 a pop & other stuff. Fans like us are the reason they become successful.
Like I said though Gordon might be an alright guy, just my personal opinion and experince. When you have a driver who's won Five Cups and he's signing but these guys are not. That should send a message to the fans.

There are people on here that would tell you they don't owe you anything. I agree with you, if it wasn't for the fans, they would be nothing.
The only reason why you did not get a autograph from Jeff Gordon is because he has been backed up for years on requests for his autograph million's and million's he still hasn't gotten to from years ago. If you seen him in person your chance's are very good of getting his autograph especially at a race track he signs probably as much or more then anyone. Dale Jr has the same deal just had millions and million's of request's he is backed up on from probably since he started. In person for Dale Jr. I can't guarantee you would get it chance's are slimmer with him then Jeff Gordon. I got Jeff Gordon's back in 2010 it took me about 16 years to get one autograph from him you just have to try to be patient with Jeff. Jimmie is a good signer but Jimmie isn't as big as Jeff and Dale are in the sport for fans that follow them. Believe Jimmie has a lot of fan's but Jeff Gordon and Dale Jr fan's would blow your mind but how many there are out there.
I forgot to mention about what they do with there time Jeff Gordon is booked up to at least 9 months in advance every single day there is something he is doing same thing with Dale Jr.
I've had pit and garage passes for Indy the last three years and they have both signed for me! Multiples everyday! I ended up with 15 Gordon's and 8 Dale Jr. Just this years three day weekend. I couldn't even begging to imagine the amount of mail they receive!! :/

I agree. I sent a card to him when I was like 5. My mom wanted me to write him a letter, we were all big in Nascar than. Only to recieve a card back 7 years later. - I was 11. But I got it signed none the less.
I'm not sure we, as fans, are owed anything. I don't agree we make all celebrities what they are. It is in varied degrees if that is even slightly true. Singers and actors more so than sports figures. I mean if they're rude to fans, we won't go to their movies or concerts or buy their products and that would have an impact, but for sports figures, especially NASCAR, there are enough fans of the sport as a whole, rather than 1 driver having to carry the whole show. Of course, that's just my spin on in.
They are successful because they work hard and race well. Of course, I do think it is considerate if they sign for fans. I also believe that if you've supported them as long as you have that it's cool to boycott them and not give them personally any more of your hard earned money by not buying their products. It's an action = reaction type of thing. they don't sign, you don't support them. Seems only fair.
I am truly sorry you got a rejection. From experience, I know they're no fun.
I beleive that we the fans are owed something. We pay to watch there sport and in return without they would not be in those million dollar homes and living a relaxing life when they retire from the sport.
If I asked them to talk to me on the phone, if I asked them to supply there own material to sign, even if I asked them to pay for postage it would be a different story.
If you are THIS busy then simply take a stack of 8x10 or 4x6's sit down and sign a whole stack of them. People send in asking for an autograph and they supply a sase then send them this.
I don't care if it took ten years to get an autograph back. Jimmie Johnson is the hottest driver out there right now with five back to back championships and if he can autograph something in less than a month there is no reason the other two can't. It is all about priorities.
None of the drivers have to reply back at all, and I don't have to support them either. I use to be a Dale Jr. fan but after getting a rejection letter I choose to spend my money on a driver who does have time to answer fan mail. Out of the drivers I have asked for an Auto back from who are still racing today I have received Mark Martin, Kyle Busch, Jimmie Johnson, & Ryan Newman. Needless to say those will be the only ones I will cheer for or buy merchandise from this day forward.
Like I said though this is just an opinion. I'd rather support a driver who has time for their fans. Even the ones who can't get down to the pits to meet them face to face.
