No Autographs From Ringo Starr?

Unread post by Urahara02 »

While i was browsing i wanted to get Starr and McCartney's Autograph and it said Ringo no longer does autographs?
Is this true, or is there a way you can get one somehow?

[us] any help or info would help alot! [uk]

(EDIT) I just read some articles online. I guess he is done i cant understand after so many years of fan support and then to just say no more fan mail or autographs, I understand being a celebrity can have its downsides being busy and all but you dont see Paul or any busier celebs doing anything of the sort, what i dont understand is the fans are the people who supported him and ultimately made his (at least solo career) a success. Why let us down in such a manner?

Dont get me wrong I have the utmost respect for anyone who wants to spread peace and love but he sure isnt showing any toward his fan base...

Anyway any new info or help or getting a Starr autograph would be much obliged.
It really is a blow to your heart when one of your idols turns out to be completly opposite than what you thought they were

He put out a press release a few years telling people not to send anything, that he wasn't going to sign anything postmarked after a certain date.

The guy was a great signer through the years. It was his right to stop signing. It would be great if he was still signing but he doesn't owe us fans anything. At least he publicized a cut-off date to give fans an opportunity one last chance.
