I'm sorry to say that you're both wrong! I know you're going to laugh and say I've got it good, but I live in Virginia Beach, VA. I really hate it. It's a tourist trap. The novelty of the beach and amusement parks and stuff wears off after the first year or so of being old enough to go there and do whatever, whenever.

Hey, your not that far from me!!! I live in Maryland. Half of it is a tourist trap, half of it hicktown, half of it city.
Okay, a combination of the threeeee. But you should be lucky. we can't do ANYTHING

We have a library. But it's SO OLD! It smells so musty and everything is so crammed. People think it's so great because it's in an "old and historical" building. If it were up to me I'd knock it down and rebuild it! We also have an abundance of churches. I have nothing wrong with church but it's seriously an overload. It's a bit too biblical for me here. Even the swimming pool is no good. It's geared toward little kids. I'm not getting caught going there.

I have a pool in my backyard, but it's above ground, and there's a bees nest by the deck. not many churches. One is a church, the other is more like a church building being used for a preschool Lots of gas stations. No Pools. Closet one is like a half hour, and you have to have a membership, which is like 3000 bucks a year, but it's only open during summerr.

We do have a couple of rivers. It's actually really nice. One is in a national park area and it's really beachy and the water is clear and there's usually not a lot of people who go there.
I'm going to try going to the bookstore today. I want to read Jaycee Dugard's book. I doubt they'll have it. Good thing I have an amazon account. I'm also going to the post office and buying a book of stamps. We are leaving soon to go visit my sister who lives out of state. I'm pretty excited.

I've been through Maryland quite a few times. My dad used to drive an 18-wheeler hauling cars around the country and I got to go with him quite a few times. I haven't left VA in a five years though

I was too young to do anything, really. The only thing I ever got the actually get out and walk around in were rest areas, truck stops, and car dealerships. lol
