Venues that do/don't pass on letters

I've never posted in this thread before, but I have recent experience with the House of Blues--Anaheim. I called them a few nights ago to ask if I could send fan mail to A Flock of Seagulls who will be playing on Sa. August 20. I was told that they usually don't, but that she could check with her supervisor to make sure. I said no, that would be alright and hung up. I have no experience with the one in Boston.

Who do you plan on sending to? the house of blues sends DEPENDING on which one, and yes, the house of blues boston sends. but who do you plan on sending tooo?

Does the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater at Encore Park pass on fanmail?

I have emailed them twice. One with a "Yes" one with a "No" and one when I called with a "Try our best."

So confused.

I got that to with somewhere else! (Minnesota State Fair) they told me no.
Then the next email said, "We try, but the letter doesn't always reach the celebrity"
and then I got like three weeks later "yes, we do"
??WT?

I've written to several National Theatre addresses and they have always been reliable. I can't specifically say yes or no for this one, but I would have no hesitation in sending to the NT any time.
